Care
Souris Mini's new-generation reusable diaper is designed for minimum handling. Its unique, ultra-practical design makes it easy to place the inserts - something never before seen in a reusable diaper. The diaper and insert separate automatically in the wash.
On this page you'll find all the information you need to look after your reusable diapers and inserts.
Washing is no longer a chore!

Before the first use
STEP 1: Close the hook-and-loop strips on themselves.
STEP 2: Wash inserts and diapers in hot water with your water hardness. Hang diapers to dry and machine-dry inserts.
STEP 3 (inserts only): Wash 2 other times with soap and hot water. Tumble dry.

Washing routine
*IMPORTANT* The care routine can be influenced by a lot of factors, including the type of washing machine, the type of detergent, the hardness of the water, the use of diaper cream and so on.
*NOTE THAT* There is no need to remove the inserts before washing the diapers.
STEP 1: Throw away the excess of solid residues (in the toilet or in the trash).
STEP 2: Close the hook-and-loop strips on themselves.
STEP 3: Wash regularly in cold water with a detergent compatible with the hardness of your water (requires less detergent).
STEP 4: Immediately run a second wash on the Heavy Duty cycle in hot water, with an additional rinse using the manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent.
STEP 5: Tumble dry the inserts and hang dry the diapers (do not expose them directly to the sun).

Storage
- Remove the liner (if used) and throw away the excess of solid residues.
- Make sure to close the hook-and-loop strips.
- It is important to leave the bag partly open to avoid humidity problems.
- Wash your diapers every 2 days.
- Our storage bag can be washed at the same time than the reusable diapers.
- Avoid rinsing the inserts before storing them, and if you must rinse, then lay out your insert or wash it within 24 hours.

Recommandations
Do not soak the diapers.
Never use fabric softener, this type of product could leave a greasy residue that would make the diapers and inserts waterproof.
Avoid Allergene, Sanitary or Extra Hot cycles: they are not recommended as they can damage our diapers.
You can let the inserts air dry, but make sure they are completely dry within 12 hours to avoid bacterial growth.
Do not use diaper creams (e.g. Zincofax) containing petroleum derivatives, zinc, paraffin or mineral oil, as they compromise the product's performance by clogging fabric fibers and causing leaks.
